Madison County, NY
Enjoy riding on some of the most interesting trails in New York State. With vistas that stretch for miles and miles, winding woodland trails abounding with wildlife, and scenic views of natural as well as man-made attractions, there is something for everyone in the family. Take a break as you ride past the windmills high above the hilltops in Fenner and enjoy the views of Oneida Lake and even the shores of Lake Ontario. Stop to take in the breathtaking majesty of Chittenango Falls, ride along the historic towpath of the Old Erie Canal, or follow the trails north to the shores of Oneida Lake. While you are out enjoying our trails, be sure to visit one of the many businesses that support snowmobiling in Madison County. Madison County NY is a snowmobiler's paradise.
The Madison County Association of Snowmobile Clubs (MCASC) is a federation of NYSSA member snowmobile clubs that develop, maintain and groom snowmobile trails in Madison County. Our member clubs are responsible for installing proper signage along the trails in order to provide safe riding while protecting the landowners who allow use of their property for snowmobile trails.
MCASC is working hard to ensure that our member clubs are following the NYS OPRHP trail signing guidelines, and providing proper training for club volunteers in areas including trail grooming, chainsaw safety, proper signage, and youthful operator safety. Remember when you ride- take nothing but memories; leave nothing but tracks!
